We are happy to say that we accept clients under 18 … but… there’s just a few things we need to have on file in order to proceed with the appointment:
- a Parent or Legal Guardian must accompany the minor throughout the procedure.
- the Parent must provide a valid photo ID
- a Birth Certificate or Legal Custody Document must be presented.
The above is required by the State of Michigan for our technicians to perform any of our services to anyone under 18.
Other guidelines ~ Piercings:
- under 13 years: Lobes only. We also reserve the right to determine if the child is able to endure the procedure. Our history shows that children of this age range can experience a positive, happy experience. Our piercer is well trained in procedures with young children.
- 13-15 years: In addition to lobes, we offer other ear piercings ~ helix, tragus, rook, daith. At this age, minors can also receive nose and eyebrow piercings.
- 16+ years: navel, septum, lip and all of the above
- 18+ years: tongue, genital and all other services (anyone under 18 will not qualify for any genital piercings including nipples for any reason)
